David: Man of prayer, man of war

Here is a book I started two years ago. It got packed away in a box, shipped over to France in a container, and then eventually unpacked once we moved into our present home. Though more of a devotional than a commentary, this book is still organized by Scripture texts given at the head of each chapter. I found it extremely insightful, both in the details in brings to light and in the applications that are made. It is very heart-warming for personal use and suggestive for the teacher/preacher. I highly recommend it.
